How it works

3 steps to get started

  1. 1

    Get a referral

Ask your GP or treating practitioner for an Exercise Physiology referral as part of your WorkCover WA treatment. Your insurer or rehab provider can also refer you.

  2. 2

    Gather your claim details

Your insurer's name, your claim number and your claims officer's contact details. Check your paperwork or call your insurer if you're unsure.

  3. 3

    Send us the intake form

We contact your insurer for approval and book your first session once it's confirmed.

Not sure if you're eligible?

If you've been injured at work and have an open claim, fill in the form anyway and we'll check with your insurer for you. Prefer to talk first? Call 0488 199 509.

New Southwest referrals (including Bunbury) are paused until January 2027. Greenwood clinic appointments are available now.

Our approach

We look at what you want to get back to, like work, family, sport and the things that matter to you, and build from there. Sleep, stress, support and workplace factors all play a part in recovery, so we look at the whole picture.

We use current evidence, including Cognitive Functional Therapy, explained in plain language. For persistent pain, our Pain Pathways Program combines exercise physiology and psychology.

Is exercise physiology covered by WorkCover WA?

If you've been injured at work and have an accepted claim, exercise physiology is often part of your treatment plan. Fill in the intake form and we'll check with your insurer for you, no obligation.

Do I need a referral?

Usually, yes, from your GP, treating practitioner, insurer, or vocational rehabilitation consultant. Not sure? Contact us and we'll help you get the right approval.

Do I have to pay anything?

Once your insurer has approved treatment, billing is sent directly to them.

Where will my sessions be?

Where travel is approved, we can meet you at a gym close to home or work across Perth, or you can see us at our Greenwood clinic on Wednesdays. New Southwest referrals (including Bunbury) are paused until January 2027. Greenwood clinic appointments are available now.

I've had my claim for a long time. Can you still help?

Absolutely. We regularly work with people who have persistent or chronic pain, delayed or stalled recoveries, and complex or long-duration claims. Ask us about our Pain Pathways Program.

Do you help with psychological injuries?

Yes. We support both physical and work-related psychological injuries, and frequently work with people where pain, stress, and recovery overlap.

Are you a case manager, GP or rehab provider?

Refer a patient online in a few minutes. We'll contact them within one business day.
